 FAQs

  • We host GAYLI at:
    Mary's Bar
    134 Kingsland Ave (Off the G & L in Greenpoint/East Williamsburg)

Every Monday in June, starting at 8PM.

  • We want everyone to be able to join the fun, so we use a sliding scale. Pay-what-you-can at the door: $5-$15 sliding scale, cash or venmo.

  • Comfy clothes you feel good moving and grooving in (you're better off in pants that aren't extra-long or extra-wide to avoid any tripping over excess fabric) and sneakers or shoes you'd use for fitness. Please no open-toed shoes or sandals - we need those shoes to stay on your feet (and those feet to stay safe!)!

  • A good time! We'll be going over the basic movements and then getting everyone into formation to try out some traditional ceilis (group/party dances). We may also do some traditional set dancing and other steps you can work on to impress at the pub for Paddy's day (got to plan ahead!).

  • No! Irish dance is for EVERYONE - all bodies and all levels are welcome. You’ll notice a good mix of those who may have some dance experience and those trying something brand new, so it’s the perfect place to jump onto the dance floor and make some memories.

  • No worries - you can reach out to us on Instagram @brooklynirishdanceco or by email. We’ll see you at the pub!
